Beth Nielsen Clinic - Oct. 11

This is a great opportunity to come learn in our first clinic of the year. The first part, on September 27 was wesome and we are all looking forward to Beth's return on the 11 of Oct. Beth Nielsen has a Bachelor's degree in Equestrian Studies from Lake Erie College. She is a full time faculty professor there in Equestrian Studies and Coaches the intercollegiate team there. Beth Nielsen trained the winner of Medan and Maclay Finals, Lauren Boss, in 1996 and 1997 as well as found Lauren her horse, Grappa. Grappa won the Medal and Maclay Finals six times. She rode in and trained many National Champions, and went to “indoors” and Devon. Beth Nielsen has been a USEF “R” judge for 30 years in Hunters, Jumpers, Hunt Seat Equitation ad Hunter Breeding. She still judges as wells as offers clinics throughout most of the USA.

Greg Best Clinic - Oct. 19 and 20

Joining us again is Greg Best. Greg is one of the world’s best show jumpers winning numerous grand prix all over the world and of course winning double silver medals in Seoul for the USA in show jumping. The horse that made him famous was the wonderful grey, Gem Twist. Since moving to New Zealand over ten years ago he has represented NZ winning the test against Australia as well as winning the World Cup Series for the New Zealand League. More recently he has been a National Show Jumping Selector, a member of the New Zealand Show Jumping High Performance Committee and the National Show Jumping Coach. This role included coaching the team at the Athens Olympics where NZ had their best ever performance



Show in the Snow - Nov. 6

Come join us for our annual Show in the Snow put on by Equine Science's Event Management class. Show start time is at 9:00 am at the BW Pickett Arena. There will be approximately 33 classes of both English and Western disciplines. Please email Tiare Santistevan at [email protected]
