English Riding Club at Colorado State University

General Information

This club is for any Colorado State University student in good standing who has an interest in horses and in riding English Disciplines (hunters, jumpers, eventers and dressage riders).  The club meets approximately once per month for an organizational meeting.  Meetings are held on Monday evenings at 5pm in the Adams-Atkinson Classroom unless otherwise noted.  The club uses the B.W. Pickett Arena on Monday evenings to ride together.

In order to ride, you must provide your own horse. Unfortunately there are no 'lesson' horses available for members to utilize. If you do not have your own horse, you may still be a part of the club.  The club will participate in other activities such as community service activities, potlucks, jump painting get togethers, etc. Tiare Santistevan will be supervising, and will coach on these riding evenings if needed.

The club strives to bring in guest clinicians/instructors to teach at least once a month.  Depending on arena availability, the club may also bring in a clinician on a weekend. Auditing the lessons and the clinics is also educational for those that are not able to ride.
